The Brief
Create a pattern that will be suitable for a children's bedspread sold at Target. The target audience is children aged 6-11, the pattern must be repeating, and it must include a separate throw pillow with an illustration not included in the pattern.
The End Result
A whimsical pattern involving woodland creatures, such as birds, snails, and deer. It also includes smaller accents like mushrooms and acorns.

The Illustrations
Both of the images below were scrapped because they didn't fit stylistically with the other images. The squirrel was too dull and not childish enough, while the flowers were a little too sketchy and not as refined.
