The Brief
Create 6 illustrations centered around a single theme that will be used on Starbucks gift cards. Cards must work well together as a set and individually.
The Solution
6 winter-themed illustrations, using a single color palette and set of brushes, that depict both real and imagined winter activities.
Initial Renderings
I started with the Mt. Sweater illustration and the cat knocking over the cup, then began drawing ice skates. I initially wanted to create a pattern and some hand lettering for it, but the feedback I received from critiques was that had too much detail compared to the other two illustrations. I wanted to keep my style consistent across all 6 pieces, so I simplified and ended up rendering a single person ice skating instead.
